Sport Hampshire & IOW hockey

• Develops links with schools
• Provides Level One Coaching Courses
• Provides coaching and assement in local Development Squads for talented junior players
• Offers coach & volunteer development opportunities and links

There are several formats of the game of Hockey, all of which are played within Hampshire & IOW

• Quicksticks is a fast, safe and exciting game that has been designed specifically for Primary Schools and is aimed at 7-11 year olds.
• Mini Hockey is a 7 a-side version of the game primarily played by U8, U10 and U12 age groups.
• Indoor Hockey is a 6 a-side variation of the game, played in a sports hall. This fast paced version of the game is played from junior through to senior level.
