Nominations are now being requested for the 2009 Hampshire & IOW Sports Awards for the sporting achievement of 2008. Deadline for nominations is Friday 6th February 2009
What are the Sports Awards?
Annual prestigious awards to publicly reward and recognise commitment to and excellence in coaching, volunteering, participation and performance in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Who runs the Sports Awards?
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Sports Awards is a joint venture between Hampshire County Council, Sport Hampshire & IOW and the Local Sports Councils & Forums in Hampshire. It is coordinated each year by Sport Hampshire & IOW.
How do I nominate?
To nominate someone for an award please:
- Check the Guidelines for nominations
- Complete a nomination form
- Ensure that your nomination form is supported by either your local authority Sports Development Officer, National Governing Body, School Sports Partnership or Local Sports Council
When is the deadline for nominations?
Friday 6th February 2008.
What happens after I have made my nomination?
Applications are shortlisted and selected finalists are invited to the prestigious awards evening on 25th March 2009 hosted at the Hampshire Rose Bowl.
